Norfolk State University is an urban institution located in the heart of the city. NSU is proud to be the tenth largest predominantly black university in the nation. Norfolk State students NSU has 6,800 students in 37 undergraduate, 14 master's and two doctoral degree programs. Prospective students and parents can participate in tours and information sessions every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 3 p.m. (10 a.m. during the summer). Open Houses are scheduled in April and November.
