Repositioning Cruises

Cruise lines occasionally move ships from one home port to another. The move is called a "repositioning cruise". They usually happen in the spring or fall when ships shift from winter to summer ports.

A repositioning cruise can be a real bargain. Most passengers prefer round-trip cruises, so these one-way trips are often heavily discounted.
