American Rover

Sail the smooth waters of the Hampton Roads harbor on a real tall-ship. The American Rover sets sail from the Waterside in downtown Norfolk. Lend a hand with the sails or just relax and enjoy the sights. The American Rover's design was inspired by 19th century schooners, but it has all the modern amenities. Three cruises per day, including a sunset cruise. April through October.

Carrie B

Experience the romance, history and fun of a cruise on the Carrie B, a paddlewheel style boat. Daily Norfolk harbor cruises feature spectacular city skylines and the fascinating ships of the Norfolk Naval Station. The Carrie B is air-conditioned and heated for a climate-controlled trip. Victory Rover

The Victory Rover makes 2-hour narrated cruises past Naval Station Norfolk. It departs from Nauticus on the downtown waterfront. Enjoy an entertaining commentary along the way. Elizabeth River Ferry

Don't have the time or money for a full-blown Norfolk harbor cruise like the Spirit of Norfolk? Hop on the Elizabeth River Ferry for a quick trip to Portsmouth! The paddlewheel ferry is fast, cheap and offers a panoramic harbor view. Fare is $1. Operates every 30 minutes.
